Work has been fairly consuming me lately (no, I don't do photography for a living—I have a real-world job). Anyway, I haven't had much time to take pictures like I like to do, even though there are many colorful Christmasy scenes around town.
So today, I have a picture from this summer, taken from our whirlwind road trip (if you haven't already, look through my archives for June/July/August 2011!). It is a historical marker located off Highway 285, a little south of Buena Vista (N 38° 35.509' W 106° 05.120' if you want to be specific). I'm not sure what 16 men could do with the meat from 8 buffalo, but if I were hungry enough, I might shoot that many myself.
